Luis Quezada, CPA

Luis is a Lovington, New Mexico native. After receiving his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from The University of Texas at El Paso, he joined Johnson, Miller & Co., CPA's PC in Hobbs, New Mexico and later moved to the Midland, Texas office as a tax accountant. While working in public accounting, he obtained his Certified Public Accountant license from the New Mexico Public Accountancy Board in 2017. He left public accounting to work as an internal auditor for Harte Hanks for a while, but eventually the call of home brought him back to Lea County.

Upon returning home, he recognized the need for high-quality, locally accessible tax and accounting services. He founded Premier Asset Consulting in January 2019 in his hometown of Lovington, New Mexico to bring professional expertise to the community he knows best.

Luis's expertise in business operations, tax compliance and consulting, and tax planning come from years of practical experience with businesses and business owners.

Vanessa Flanigan, CPA/ABV

Vanessa received her Bachelor of Accounting with Honors from New Mexico State University and began her career with Johnson, Miller, & Co., CPA's PC in Hobbs, New Mexico and obtained her Certified Public Accountant license from the New Mexico Public Accountancy board. She later moved to Amarillo, Texas, where she worked as an internal tax and fixed assets manager for Maxor National Pharmacy Services. Vanessa returned to public accounting and joined Connor, McMillan, Mitchell, and Shennum, PLLC and obtained a second Certified Public Accountant license from the Texas State Board of Public Accounting. She also became Accredited in Business Valuation from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and started her business valuation service line. New Mexico called her home, and she rejoined Johnson, Miller & Co., CPA's PC shortly before the merger with Whitley Penn.

Through her professional journey, she reconnected with former colleague and friend Luis Quezada and discovered a shared vision for providing tax and accounting services to the local community. Aligned in values and goals, she joined Premier Asset Consulting and opened the Hobbs location in January 2026.

Vanessa's expertise is in tax compliance and planning, accounting consulting, estate planning, and business valuations with an emphasis on the oil and gas industry.
